Ramseur man charged with selling crack cocaine

RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A Ramseur man was arrested after authorities searched his home this week and found crack cocaine.

Bill Joseph Santilli, 55, was arrested after deputies said they searched his home at 162 N.C. Highway 49 North on Tuesday.

During the search, deputies said they found 9.5 grams of crack cocaine, $812 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

Santilli has been charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine, possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for drugs, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Santilli was jailed under a $10,000 unsecured bond.

Also charged following the search was Charles Anthony Brown, 52, of Ramseur.  He was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies said officers with the Ramseur Police Department aided in the search.

No other details about the investigation were provided.
